At Landed, we believe the hard work should start after you find a job. That’s why our app makes it simple to build your CV, connect with local employers, and find opportunities that perfectly match your skills, experience, and personal values.
Landed not only helps job seekers in the Sussex area, it means local employers can tap into new talent pools and waste less time and money on recruitment. Bridging the gap between job seekers and employers, Landed makes sure the right people end up in the right role.
Funded by the Local Skills Improvement Fund, the new Landed job-matching app is being rolled out to 16 Further Education Colleges and Sixth Form Colleges across Sussex, with dedicated career support and skills building being provided through the app from Colleges. A Sussex business can be front and centre to over 50,000 newly qualified jobseekers, all for FREE. Not only that, the step-by-step web-based platform allows organisations to add work experience, volunteering, Apprenticeships, part-time roles and career opportunities.
The psychometric test on the app allows users to determine their employability skills and identify any gaps. Learners can go on to select specific modules from Bodyswaps, a VR soft skills training software, which is being rolled out to all the colleges as part of the Local Skills Improvement Fund by FE Sussex.
The Sussex LSIF projects are designed to meet the objectives of the Local Skills Improvement Plan and help ensure the economic success of the area.
The Local Skills Improvement Plan by Future Skills Sussex was created in 2022 to represent employers views on the skills most needed to support local economic growth and boost productivity and improve employability and progression for learners. It set out the key priorities and changes needed in the local area to make post-16 technical education or training more responsive and closely aligned to local labour market needs.
Landed provides many opportunities to meet these needs by making recruitment faster, simpler and more accessible and has a focus on employability/ transferable skills.
